It was late at night for Ayaka, who had spent another night in her room doing her homework in frustration as she thought about her "perfect" little sister, Yun. The teenager just didn't get it. Sure, her sister was autistic, but the way her parents bent over backwards and treated her little sister as if she was the golden child while Ayaka got the short end of the stick wasn't normal! She had seen how her sister manipulated them, thought they didn't notice her until they agreed to let those monsters stay in the house. She had seen Digimon as well, and knew full well what they were capable of.

Destruction.

Chaos.

Death.

She hated them, she was afraid that they'd kill everything she loved. That, combined with the fact her parents seemed to hate her along with everyone else caused her to lash out in retaliation.

She needed an escape, but felt that she couldn't get one in her current situation without coming off as even more of a monster as she already seemed. They thought she was angry because her grades were poor, when in reality, they were actually average at best. And yet her family kept saying how poor they were.

She needed to get out of this place. She needed to get away from it all.

She needed some fresh air.

So, after slipping on a coat, she headed out into the cool night, no one was around and she could smell the scent of the earth after a fresh rainfall. This confused her as the weather report never mentioned anything about Rain, but as she walked down the street around midnight to get some air, she also noticed that no one was around.

That was strange, normally there'd be someone driving by at this time of night, right?

Before she could figure out what was going on, a faint mist rolled in, causing her to shiver and pull her jacket closer to her body to stay warm, before she heard a smooth, velvety voice speak, though she couldn't figure out from where.

"Oh poor, poor Ayaka Wakamiya," the voice said with a purr, "Discarded by your family in favor of your angelic little sister who has them wrapped around her finger, and then treated poorly because in their eyes, you'll never be good enough for them. You're hated and despised, a broken down scapegoat in need of an escape."

"Wh-Who's there!? H-How do you know that!?"

"Oh, I've been watching you and your family with some others, Dear Ayaka," the voice said, as the mist started to come together in the shape of a man. Ayaka watched in horror as the figure before her solidified into a man with water for hair, a white body-suit covered in golden zippers and a few studs decorated with a tear-drop shape. Most notably was the fact his face, while handsome had white stripes on his cheeks and a black stripe going from his forehead down to the tip of his nose. Ayaka, who had a boyfriend couldn't help but feel like she was already cheating by staring at this fabulous and strange man before her, especially as her cheeks flushed a bit as she found her voice again.

"W-What are you!? Some sort of vampire!?" she said pointing at the monster before her, who merely rolled his eyes and smiled, showing fangs in his mouth, causing Ayaka to step back.

"I'm no vampire, though I can be deemed as fabulous as some examples of them," the man said, before giving Ayaka a bow like some sort of fairy tale nobleman, "I am the Maestro Marquis du Aquary, Splashmon of Witchelny, at your service."

"You're a digimon?" Ayaka said, recalling the monsters her sister had just added to the family earlier that day, "But... you look so human."

Splashmon laughed at this, before flipping his watery hair, "Plenty of digimon look human, darling, but as a Witchelnan- another digital world of sorts where magic reigns supreme, if you're wondering about that- I feel that I should embrace my appearance and bring beauty to the world while also sowing some mischief here and there."

"Wh-What do you plan to do to me!?" Ayaka then said, realizing that Splashmon was probably there to cause trouble, and most likely planned on using her to do it. At this, she noticed Splashmon seemed hurt, before he answered.

"Why Ayaka, I'm here to grant your wish like a fairy godfather," he then said, causing Ayaka to look confused, "Don't you want to leave your family for how they treat you over Yun? I can grant that wish for you, Darling, though it will come at a price, of sorts."

Ayaka looked worried at that, her silent question soon getting answered as Splashmon continued while examining his clawed fingers.

"I can get you out of here, but since you are tied to the story of this world, it won't be easy. To fully extract you, I need to create a replacement for you, but there's sadly a problem with that- I need you to... willingly give up your role in the story so I can create your replacement. "

Ayaka thought about this, on one hand, she'd be free to do what she wanted, while on the other... something else would take over life. She didn't know what would happen to her, in all honesty, but the temptation was there, and it was quite strong. But, she thought of someone important to her, someone she thought she could fall back on whenever her family became too much to handle.

"What about my boyfriend?" she said, causing Splashmon to hum in thought for a moment, before creating a bubble of water, which soon became filled with a familiar face- the man she loved, but he wasn't alone. In fact, he had a digimon of his own! Ayaka stepped back as Splashmon's implications couldn't be any clearer. Her boyfriend was keeping a secret from her! What else could be be hiding from her, now that she thought about it, before a horrible realization hit her.

For some reason, she couldn't even remember how she met her boyfriend, much less how long she'd been with him or anything about him.

"What-What's happening to me?" Ayaka said in horror, "Why can't I remember my relationship clearly?"

Splashmon's eyes widened at this, before humming in thought, "Perhaps, that's a sign you should take my offer, Ayaka Darling, I can take you someplace where you can see the damage your little sister is doing, even the things she does when you and your family aren't around. Your lack of memories may be a sign that this world isn't exactly real, so wouldn't you want to see it be torn apart for what it is?"

Ayaka looked at Splashmon as she thought about this, before she gained a determined look on her face. She finally wanted out, and if it meant leaving everything behind for the sake of seeing her sister's world fall down around her. Ayaka didn't matter to her family anyway, so if it meant her having a chance to truly be happy, to escape from her emotional abuse at the hands of her awful parents and her golden child sister, then so be it.

"Alright," she said, "I give up my role in this world in exchange for freedom."

Splashmon grinned at this, and with a wave of his hand summoned a gray blob to his hand and set it on the ground. Before her eyes, she watched as the blob morphed into a perfect copy of herself, even down to the jacket she wore. The puppet soon came to life and started walking towards her house as the world around them slowly changed. What was once a street in her hometown, soon turned into a room with nice blue walls and an ocean motif to it, while a large screen was attached to the wall displaying the scene she'd just left. Ayaka looked around in confusion as Splashmon grinned like the bastard he was as he spoke again.

"Welcome, Darling Ayaka to Kudzumac's Sporking Complex. Would you like to tear down your world's flaws?"

Knowledge soon poured into Ayaka's head, knowledge of just how wrong her old world happened to be, and what was going to happen to her within it had she stayed in it. She was sick and horrified at what was to be done to her- the abuse, the suffering the lack of anyone caring about her feelings... it filled her with anger as she looked to Splashmon and smiled.

"What do I need to do?" Ayaka said, while Splashmon moved out of the room and beckoned Ayaka follow him.

"I'll explain on the way, Darling."

Splashmon looks like a badass bad guy, and Ayaka would be a good co-sporker.

True! What's the purpose of being evil if you don't try to still be awesome?
